Of the wealthy Moncastrel family, there is but one outcast. That outcast would be Velsh.
For though he has achieved Knighthood and rank among not only the Order of Eva, but
also the Blades of the Ebon Flame, to his pacifist relatives, these are all perfectly good
reasons why Velsh is not acceptable. Velsh doesn’t seem to mind, however, and
certainly enjoys the adventuring life. You never feel as alive, he says, as when you’re
saving people from terrible danger, killing terrorizing dragons, or turning goblinoids to ash
where they stand. As the party mage, Velsh is perhaps one of the most dangerous
members of the Blades of the Ebon Flame; but the thought never seems to grace his
thoughts. Velsh is impetuous, rude, and above all, one of life’s lovers; taking anything
fate will give him and turning it into splendor. Blessed with a permanent smile and a
seemingly aboundless luck, Velsh is unquestioningly the most sociable of the
Blades.
