Though Laur is an accepted member of the Order of Eva, and though Laur is loyal to his
friends in the organization, Laur has another group which he pledges his allegience to
before all others... the Knights of the Mind’s Eye. One of the fabled psionicists, Laur has
joined the Blades of the Ebon Flame in order to better protect society, destroy evil, and
hopefully make large steps in the battle against the Devoted. Laur is not what you would
expect from the organization, however. While not unthinkable that the usually cold
Knights should have some pleasant members about their ranks, it is certainly uncommon.
Laur loves life, and though not as exuberant in showing his affection as Velsh, he does
show his appreciation in many other ways. When not in battle, or on the move, heading
some large unit of an army, Laur can often be found in his room at the royal palace, doing
what he truly loves best, painting. If not working on art, Laur can be found in the palace
gallery, the library, or perhaps the gardens, or forests outside the city walls. Laur is an
exceptional man to hold a conversation with, and is perhaps the most comfortable
psionicist in the world. Whereas many hold themselves apart from the rest of the world,
considering themselves outcasts, Laur seems to have no such thoughts. He enjoys the
company of his friends, and is, aside from Velsh, the most sociable of the
Blades.
